Appellation d’Origine Protégée (13,5%)

Delicious white with soft stone fruit, peach, apricot and lavender flavours. A brilliant white showing enticing aromas of citrus fruits, blossom and green apples.

Appellation Bordeaux Contrôlée (13,5%)

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with bouquet
of blackcurrant and cherries. The palate shows a nice
equilibrium with concentrated fruit, body and subtle tannins.

(2) Château Penin, Grande Sélection (C.B. 2008)

Appellation Bordeaux Supérieur Controlée (13%)

Supple, exuding sweet blackcurrant, bilberry and nuances of cloves all plumped up with nice oak. Made by Patrick Carteyron from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Lovely wine, very highly regarded.

This rich and elegant, award-winning red is a blend of 80% Merlot, 14% Cabernet and 7% Malbec. Full-bodied with earthy, spicy notes and harmonious tannins, with cassis and wild strawberries on the finish.

Appellation Listrac-Medoc Controlée. (13%)

Second wine of chateau Fourcas Hosten made from merlot and cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of cabernet franc. Subtle and complex aromas. The palate is harmonious with elegant tannins and a long finish.

The Sauvignon and Semillon play their parts admirably giving fresh fruit and elegance while the real star is the Muscadelle which gives a floral lift. Rich style but with clean and fresh fruit flavours

(6) Château Brio de Cantenac Brown (C.B. 2004)

Appellation Margaux Controlée. (13%)

Second wine of Chateau Cantenac brown made from 2/3 cabernet sauvignon, and 1/3 Merlot with a hint of cabernet Franc for good measure. The nose has chery and violet notes. Tannins are round and silky. Fresh, with a good length in final.

(7) Château Haut Bages Libéral (C.B. 2006)

Appellation Pauillac Controlée (13%)

Lovely fresh, elegant nose; the palate is feminine in style with a lovely creamy finesse but also has rich, spicy damson and blackberry fruit and very good grip. The finish is very pure with an attractive marzipan edge providing an extra layer of complexity.
