Reigate's award-winning French restaurant, La Barbe, has unveiled its eagerly awaited summer season menu..
La Barbe has remained at the forefront of French cuisine in the South East for over 25 years, under the guidance of endearing Frenchman Serge Tassi. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide and Hardens, recently receiving a prestigious Gold Award from Toptable - Europe's leading online dining community.
La Barbe's new season menu is crammed full of gastronomic innovation to excite diners over the coming months, with dishes designed to showcase the plentiful virtues of the French way of cooking, at the heart of which, is the use of quality ingredients. Highlights include Salade de Cresson aux Fraises Poulet au miel (Honey roast chicken served with watercress, strawberry and balsamic dressing), Brochette de poulet au Romarin, Pesto et blé tendre (Skewer of chicken rolled with pesto, served with durum wheat and rosemary sauce) and Tartelette aux fraises Glace a la rose (Strawberry tartlet served with rose syrup ice cream).
The new season menu is the creation of Laurent Pacaud, Head Chef at La Barbe for 24 years and is described by Serge Tassi as: "Full of fresh, fruity summer flavours and combining traditional and exotic tastes." |
